ORDER triumph over MVP PK 2-0 in the grand final of WESG 2017 Asia-Pacific Regional Finals (19-17 de_train and 16-10 de_nuke).

Held at the Fangyuan Sports Center in Jiaozhou, Qingdao, China from January 11-14, the WESG 2017 Asia-Pacific Regional Finals (including female) witnessed 27 teams duke it out for the prize money and the World Finals' spots. 

With Gambit and Flash being absent, notable teams such as MVP PK, ORDER, and BOOT-d[S] — who attended the most recent Asia Minor — became the next favourites in line to win the $92,500 tournament.

ORDER debut with an international win under their belt

The grand finalists of the competition both came from Group A's top two teams, which saw the top seed MVP PK defeat New4 and BOOT-d[S] during their playoffs' run in the quarter-finals and semis.

ORDER, who had two substitutes for the Chinese event in the form of Chiefs member Liam "⁠malta⁠" Schembri and Grayhound's Callum "⁠BURNRUOk⁠" Henderson, kicked off their debut with a second place finish in Group A following a 16-13 loss on Mirage to the Koreans.

The mixed Australian roster went on to beat LEOPARD 2-0 in Round of 12, MAX 2-1 in the quarter-final, and NSPR 2-0 in the semis. Led by the highest rated player of the event (of 1.40), Jay "⁠Liazz⁠" Tregillgas' side successfully completed their revenge against ex-WeMade Fox member Keun-Chul "⁠solo⁠" Kang and company in the grand final.
